Tristian Ibarra Martin is a dedicated cinematographer with 8 years of professional experience in film & video. Raised in the Central Valley, where a career in the arts is not common, he is deeply inspired by his family's involvement in the arts. His grandmother managed a local theater in Mexico, his mother is an art teacher, and his father is a video teacher. His two younger sisters are also passionate about drawing. He now is pursuing his career as a Mexican-American cinematographer in Los Angeles.
Tristian completed his Associate's degree in Film, TV, & Electronic Media at LA City College in June 2024. During his time there, he also became a student member of the Society of Camera Operators in LA, further improving his skills and expanding his professional network. He holds a Panavision Cinema Camera Certification and is skilled in various camera systems, including ARRI, Sony, RED, and various DSLRs. His expertise extends to the Grip and Electrical Departments, and he is proficient in post-production software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Suite, and Final Cut Pro.
Open collaboration is central to Tristian's approach to cinematography. He believes in letting the story dictate the style and the creator’s vision of the project, ensuring that visuals resonate emotionally with the audience.
